 Sistermothers
I was blessed with four mothers. My mother gave birth
to me, but my three older sisters helped her raise me.
They taught me how to shave my legs, drive a stick, drink, smoke, skip school, and what the “F” word meant. Now they help me navigate things like skin cancer,
menopause, and kids leaving home.
